New Love! Burt's Bees Lip Balm

So about a year ago I tried the Burt's Bees original beeswax lip balm for the first time! I think it costed me around £3 - £4 which is a good price in my books. So when I got this I really didn't like it because of the texture, which meant I wasn't really thinking about whether it moisturized my lips or not. But as with most new products I try, I kept using it for a few days hoping it would grow on me. However, no matter how much I used it I just really disliked it!
About a week ago I saw akaydoll's review on her favourite lip balms! She mentioned the Burt's Bees lip balm being one of her favourites so I just had to give it another try! I really liked it!!! For some reason it doesn't feel as waxy as it used to be. So I kept using it and I have to say it really is one of my favourites at the moment! It goes on pretty thick and waxy but in a really smooth way which makes it feel very moisturizing straight away. It leaves behind the smooth almost film (in a good kind of way:P) and makes your lips feel just so unbelievably soft, smooth and hydrated! It lasts a good hour or so and it feels really moisturizing even once the product has worn off. This is my new HG lip balm and I much prefer it to my EOS's. I rate this product 5 out of 5 as it is just the best! I recommend this so much! Oh, and not to mention the amazing tingly feeling it gives when applied to the lips! I have also got 2 of the lip shimmers from Burt's Bees in Rhubarb and Watermelon and I love these as well and they go on even smoother and creamier than the original beeswax lip balm! I like to apply these over the beeswax lip balm when I get ready in the morning for school! I really want to try the Burt's Bees pomegranate lip balm as I have heard that it is even better than the original beeswax one which means it must be AMAZING! I also smelt the acai berry one when I was it boots (smelt wonderful) and was very tempted but didn't pick it up seeing as when I last tried Burt's Bees lip balm I hated it! But now I love it! Wooo :D

(sorry about the google image but I didn't have time to take my own)

EOS Lip Balms

So, as you guys know, I LOVE lip balms! I tried these EOS lip balms quite a while ago when I purchased summer fruit (review on my youtube channel). When I first got it I absolutely loved it! However, when I first got it, I thought it smelled like plastic although I just thought it was because it was new! I have now only got a very small amount left and I do still think it smells like plastic and I don't find it very moisturizing any more; at least not as much as it used to! I recently picked up the two limited edition Strawberry Sorbet and Passion Fruit lip balms off of eBay (we don't have EOS over here in England unfortunately) and I loved these so much! They smell so good and taste surprisingly nice too, in case you accidently lick your lips with this product applied. They are pretty moisturizing, but as I was soon to realise (when I tried the Burt's Bees lip balm again) the moisture just wasn't lasting long enough on my lips! But these lip balms do go on very smoothly and last a decent amount of time, around 1 hour, which I don't mind as I quite enjoy applying lip balms (especially these cute little things!) as weird as that may seem :P So overall I would give these a 4 out of 5 as they are pretty good! Price wise I'm not sure but for me when I bought them off eBay the single ones around £7 and the limited edition duo was around £12 pounds (including postage)! Pretty pricey if you ask me! Especially seeing as though in the US the are about $3 and usually British pounds are around half of that!

The Body Shop Lip Butter

So as you all know I absolutely love Body Shop products so I had to check out the lip butters. I first purchased a lip butter about a year ago when I first discovered The Body Shop. My mum went into Canterbury and got me the papaya lip butter as i had smelt them all before and that was my favourite as it smelt like fruit juice. The first thing I noticed when I got home from school and opened it was just how CUTE the packaging is. It comes in a 10ml little pot (0.29 oz 8.5g). On the top of the pot is a picture of the flavour/scent you bought it in, for example mine has a picture of a papaya. It is also in the colour of the flavour/scent you bought it in (mine is orange). I loved the lip butter so much that I just had to buy another one. So a few months later me and my sister got one each, I got the new(ish) sweet lemon and I bought my sister the pink grapefruit one as she loved the scent. I bought the sweet lemon one as I already had the sweet lemon body butter and loved the scent of it! I do have to admit though the scent of the lip butter is not as nice as the scent of the body butter and body lotion (in my opinion) because it is much sweeter. I loved my little lip butters they were moisturising and very nice to put on with there buttery-like consistency. So about two and a half weeks ago I ordered two more online for my birthday. I got the shea and the coconut (I mention these in my 'I Received Some Parcels' video). I was SO excited when these came in the mail seeing as I had loved my other ones so much! I didn't used to like coconut scents or anything nutty. But I have to say coconut is now one of my favourite Body Shop scents! The shea scent is very hard to explain but I would say it is like coconut but a bit less sweet and with a hint of vanilla. The coconut obviously just smells like coconut which is absolutely DIVINE. I have to say I think the shea and the coconut are a little more moisturising than the others. These butters do go on with a slight white tint especially the coconut, but however I like it because it kind of gives you a nude shiny effect. Anyway the white tint goes away after about five minutes.
There is one thing which is really annoying. I have found after a few months they get these small, hard lumps in them which you can't get out. On the sweet lemon picture you will see there is not much left. This is down to the fact that I tried  to get the lumps out but they are still there in all of the lip butter. So I am going to try and use my new ones up before that happens.
Here is my order of favourites to least favourites (I love them all) :
Coconut
Shea
Papaya
Sweet Lemon
Pink Grapefruit

I think there is only two which I don't have, Mango and Wild Cherry, which I will hopefully try in the future.
Overall I would say these are definitely worth checking out and there is a scent for everyone! Oh another thing is a few months after I got the papaya I think they discontinued it over here in the UK so I am glad I got it while I still could!
I have done a review on these on Youtube so if you would like to check that out please just follow the link - http://www.youtube.com/user/StarsAndButterfliezX?feature=mhum#p/a/u/0/mkwLV3ejVgo

The Body Shop Body Butter

Lets just start off by saying I absolutely LOVE these body butters!
I first got one back in march when my mum got me the new sweet lemon body butter. I wasn't sure whether I would like the smell or not seeing as I don't always like the smell of lemons. But I was pleasantly surprised at the sweet yet delightful soft smell of lemons. It really does smell divine!
I have never really tried a body butter before so I was curious whether or not it would be to thick and heavy for the skin, luckily however it is just right, not to greasy and not to thick and sticky. It's amazing! The sweet lemon body butter is for normal/dry skin so I think that's why it is just right with the consistency. It is a very moisturising product and I would definitely recommend. I have actually used all of this up and need to repurchase soon.
So seeing as I loved this body butter so much I went back and purchased another around June. I didn't really like many of the scents and I couldn't smell them properly in the shop because inside the shop it is very fragrant. But in the end I got the mango body butter and I also got some lip butters which I will talk about in another post.
Anyway so when I got home I opened it up (obviously) and smelt it. It smells delicious like you are eating a mango! But I have to admit I do prefer my sweet lemon body butter. The mango body butter is for very dry skin as it states on the top of the container. This one is maybe slightly more moisturising because it is for very dry skin which also means it is thicker and stickier, but still a lovely, buttery consistency (hence the name 'body butter').
Overall I would say my favourite is the the sweet lemon because it is less thick and absorbs quicker and in my opinion has a nicer, fresher smell that you can never dislike even if you keep sticking your nose into the tub (who would do that? *cough cough*). The price of these butters is £5.00 for a 50ml tub and £12.50 for a 200ml tub which I think is slightly pricey but even so I think the product is worth every penny and makes up for the cost.
I have also got a Youtube review on this here's the link - http://www.youtube.com/user/StarsAndButterfliezX#p/u/3/P4y5w9W6x4s
